Introduced by the Moors, azulejos (originally white and blue ceramic tiles) were fully embraced by the Portuguese when their king Manuel I, on a visit to the Alhambra palace in Southern Spain, was mesmerized by the stunning beauty of the Moorish decorative tiles. The king, awestruck by the interior beauty of the Alhambra, immediately ordered that his own palace in Portugal be decorated with similar wall tiles. As a tile-laying artist, you have been challenged to embellish the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora. In the game Azul, players take turns drafting colored tiles from suppliers to their player board. Later in the round, players score points based on how theyve placed their tiles to decorate the palace. Extra points are scored for specific patterns and completing sets; wasted supplies harm the players score. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Great service and communication

I can't go back to the original game

After playing this version of Dune Imperium, I can't go back to playing the original base game. This game improves the original in so many ways; the deck building feels more important and creating synergies between different cards seem more achievable.

However, if you've never played Dune Imperium before, there could be a greater learning curve for new players, as there's a few more things to keep track of and remember rules for, etc.

But if you're looking for Dune Imperium but with more oomph, this is the game for you.

Horrifying game night

Played this with a bunch of friends, and we spent most of the game thinking that one of us had been a good guy, but turned out that he had been one of the bad guys all along! By the time we had figured it out, it was too late.

The minis are also really great, I had a lot of fun painting them
